A face from the radio

Our Students’ Union continues its feast of fantastic entertainment with an appearance from a top Radio 1 DJ.

Scott Mills takes to the stage at The Hub on Friday 23 January.

Famed for his hugely popular afternoon slot, Scott is one of Radio 1’s biggest draws. He has interviewed some of the hottest names in show business and his off the wall sense of humour and outrageous pranks are always a big hit with listeners.

It will be the second time Scott has appeared at the Students’ Union and he will keep clubbers entertained with a DJ set, plenty of banter and some audience participation.

Tom Cawkwell, President of the Students’ Union, said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Scott Mills back to the Students’ Union.

‘His appearance shows that we’re up there with the most high profile venues in the region. It also underlines our commitment to attracting the biggest names and holding the highest profile events possible.

‘We’re fully expecting it to be another huge success, just like his last visit.’

The event gets underway at 10.30pm. Advance tickets are £4 and are available from the Students’ Union. Alternatively, entry is £5 on the night.
