Dancing in the street

Creative students on the BA (Hons) Dance course took to the street to give a series of special performances.

The first year students were set the task of choreographing and performing a public routine based on a specific theme.

They chose to perform in Kind Edward's Square with a routine inspired by their environment.

The students gave five performances in total, from Monday 30 March to Wednesday 1 April.

Course Leader Heike Salzer said it was a tough challenge for the students to perform in a public setting but one they pulled off with five faultless and well-received routines.
