Maurice Dezou, of Middlesbrough based Community Voice FM, said: 'We serve a diverse multi-cultural community. This partnership offers the students a chance to work with the community while gaining experience of working in our FM radio studio. We decided to link up with the University to provide another platform to serve the community, as the student population is a large part of this area’s community.'
Students get actual FM broadcasting experience Dominic Dunn, Click’s Station Manager, said: 'The partnership between Click and Community Voice FM is a fantastic opportunity for our students as it’s giving them actual FM broadcasting experience.
'The University already has strong links with the local community and we feel this partnership just serves to strengthen those links. Click has grown from strength to strength over the two years of its existence, serving the University community with news, entertainment and of course music. This is just another step in the right direction.'
