Vice-Chancellor to congratulate triumphant Quakers

Professor Graham Henderson CBE, Teesside University’s Vice-Chancellor, is to offer is his personal congratulations to the victorious Darlington FC team at the Civic reception at Darlington Town Hall.

He said: 'Teesside University is absolutely delighted to congratulate the players, staff and supporters of Darlington FC. Winning the FA Trophy is a fantastic achievement which I am sure will give a huge boost to the whole town. New Darlington campus 'The University looks forward to playing an even bigger role in the town with our new campus opening this summer.' Darlington FC won Saturday’s FA Trophy in the last minute of extra time against Mansfield Town. The winning team will arrive tonight at the Town Hall at 6.30pm and display their trophy from a balcony to jubilant fans below.
