Graduating from Teesside University in Darlington

It was a proud day for graduates who studied for Teesside University qualifications at Darlington College.

Around 120 successful students and their guests gathered at Darlington College to celebrate their academic success in a joint Teesside University and Darlington College graduation ceremony.

The students achieved their academic awards at the University’s Centre within Darlington College. Their diverse awards ranged from degrees in education studies, to business management to foundation degrees in hospitality management, journalism and computing.

In addition, some graduates were awarded Darlington College Higher Level professional qualifications.

Teesside University’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Henderson CBE DL said before the ceremony: 'I am very much looking forward to celebrating the success of our students and looking ahead to the future, with our Darlington campus enabling us to provide more higher education opportunities for people in the Darlington and surrounding areas.'
