The event brought together the annual presentations for long service and academic achievement, with a set of special awards which recognise the outstanding contributions made by nominated colleagues from across the University.

All staff were invited to nominate a colleague, or colleagues, in several categories, including individual and team or project awards.

The aim was to recognise those staff members or team who have gone that extra mile or are always happy to help, or those who deserve credit for the creative or tenacious way they take on a challenge.
