Do the Teesside time warp

Time travel is on offer at the University of Teesside, thanks to its History Taster Day on Wednesday 27 June 2001 from 10am-2.30pm. The Taster Day is designed to show the links between History and technology, is free and open to the public. Interested students can register at 10am on Wednesday 27 June on the First Floor of the University’s Clarendon Building.

The sessions for the day are:

History and Science?
This exploration of the history of science will include 1960’s pop music and excerpts from tv’s Monty Python.

Television and Film as a Historical source?
Including an interactive workshop where students can interpret different pieces of footage.

Interactive IT session?
Demonstrating how computer-based resources are used as part of Historical studies at the University of Teesside, with hands-on use of materials.
