If Teesside is your insurance choice and you’ve decided to join us, you’ll need to contact your firm choice and ask to be released. You can then get in touch with us and we will support you on the next steps to make Teesside your firm choice on UCAS.

You may still have been accepted onto your chosen course or offered an alternative option. Check your UCAS Hub to see if you’ve been offered a place. If you have, that’s great news and you do not need to contact the university or go through Clearing.

You can contact us about multiple courses, but you can only apply for one course at a time. Once you accept a Clearing offer and add it to UCAS, that becomes your formal choice.
Yes, but you’ll need to check that the course you want to study is available and contact us.
If you previously applied for a course and were not successful, you can reapply for the same course in Clearing, providing you meet the entry requirements.
Yes, but you’ll need to decline your current offer in UCAS and be released into Clearing before making the switch.

We accept all Level 3 qualifications that are assigned UCAS tariff points. You can use the UCAS tariff points calculator to understand if you meet the entry criteria for your course.

No, you cannot apply for an apprenticeship through clearing in the same way you would for a university place. Apprenticeships are applied for directly through employers and have their own application processes and deadlines.
Yes, log in to your Student Finance account and notify them of any changes to your course or university. You can do this as soon as you accept the new offer.
You can apply for Student Finance online through the official Student Finance website. You’ll need to create an account, complete the application form, and provide any required documents. Apply as early as possible to avoid delays in receiving your funding.
