Celebrating South Asian Heritage

A special event celebrating South Asian culture will be held for colleagues and students on Wednesday 22 November.

Organised by members of our Ethnic and Cultural Diversity Focus Group, activities will include an Indian classical dance and musical performance by Devika Rao in the Student Life building between 13:00 – 14:00.

There will also be the opportunity to play Carrom, a traditional Indian board game, between 12:00 – 14:30.

Concept art student Taejusvin Sashita will create and display a digital mandala on the ground floor of SLB, between 15:00 - 16:00, and the Food Quarter will be offering a 20 percent discount on all biryani dishes, using the code Taaza20.

There will be a book display in the Exhibition space in the Library.
