The rise of freelancing and the gig economy has contributed to a shift away from traditional employment models. In fact, World Bank data shows that nearly 47% of the Global workforce is now self-employed!

In this workshop you will explore the self-employment landscape, gaining an insight into the opportunities that freelancing or setting up a side hustle can offer.

It will help you to unlock your own freelance potential, while addressing some of the most common queries about freelancing that we hear in Launchpad:

- Is freelancing a viable way of making a living?
- Freelancing Vs employment?
- How do I set up as a freelancer?
- Where is the work?
- Should I use an on-line marketplace like Fiverr?
- What should I charge for my product or service?
- How do I invoice my clients?
- What are the tax and NI implications of being a freelancer or having a side hustle?
- I'm already selling on-line - how do I stay on the right side of the law?

The hour long session will be followed by one to one sessions with the Launchpad team.
