Our services

Led by our dental hygiene students, under the supervision of qualified dental hygienists or therapists who are all General Dental Council-registered clinicians, the clinic provides general dental care, diagnosing of oral diseases and treatment plans to maintain and restore oral health.

You must be registered with a dentist to access our facility - treatments can only be provided under referral from an external dental practitioner.

Treatment is free of charge.

How to make an appointment

Email studentdentalfacility@tees.ac.uk to request a referral form to pass on to your dentist for completion, this allows you to make an appointment. Clinics run throughout the year, except over Easter and Christmas.
