Integrated Care Academy

The Integrated Care Academy (ICA) aligns with Teesside University's principles of global connectivity and social and ethical engagement. It addresses changing demands by focusing on local and global delivery across education, research, and engagement.

By embracing engaged scholarship principles, the academy seeks to foster health-related education and clinical innovation through multi and interdisciplinary approaches, collaboration with healthcare partners, and community involvement.

The ICA's strategic aims include preparing future healthcare professionals, fostering joint ownership of development between education and healthcare providers, stimulating innovation, supporting equality and inclusivity, influencing national policy, and demonstrating commitment to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. These aims encompass a comprehensive and diverse partnership engagement model to enhance education, research, and practice while making a positive impact both locally and internationally.
