Structured Leadership and Management Programmes

Help to Grow: Management

Teesside University International Business School is delivering the UK Government's Help to Grow: Management Programme in 2022. Using a combination of online and face-to-face sessions alongside case study workshops, Help to Grow: Management provides businesses with an opportunity to apply concepts to real-life situations faced by business leaders. By the end of the programme, you will have developed a tailored Growth Action Plan. You will be supported through the programme by your own mentor together with having the opportunity to learn from peers and network with businesses like yours.

Peer Network

Peer Network is part of the UK Government's COVID-19 recovery plan and provides businesses with the opportunity to come together and learn with and from peers who are experiencing similar issues. Eligible businesses will receive six, three hour sessions of facilitated action learning along with 3.5hrs of one-to-one coaching with a qualified coach. Teesside University International Business School is delivering the Peer Network for both the Tees Valley Combined Authority and North East LEP. Leading Growth

Leading Growth is a proven six-month leadership and management programme designed specifically for business leaders in the Tees Valley. This fully-funded practical programme has been developed over several cohorts by Teesside University in conjunction with local business people.

Management Catalyst

Management Catalyst is a fully-funded programme has been developed specifically to support middle managers and aspiring managers of small businesses and social enterprises.

Middle managers of SMEs need a much broader skill set than those working in large organisations. They need to be able to take on a range of responsibilities to enable the wider team to carry out their work more effectively.

Dedicated Corporate Executive Programmes

Our bespoke, corporate executive programmes offer an agile, informed approach to business continuity and CPD across your organisation. Our programmes are designed to reflect our own core ethos of entrepreneurial thinking, enterprise and co-creation, and importantly are intended to encourage structured discovery and participation-based study amongst your current and future leaders.

From short, succinct courses that hit a specific skills button, to accredited programmes counting towards a nationally recognised qualification, our academic team will work with you through a structured three-stage process of diagnostic and discovery, delivery and implementation, and evaluation and embedding within your organisation.

Continuing Professional Development
