Data Breach Management

Teesside University is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data and also recognises the value of its data as an information asset. The University has tried and tested policies for managing data breaches which ensure a consistent and effective approach to managing data breach and information security incidents across the University.

If you are aware of a data breach please contact the University's Data Protection Officer immediately by telephone on 01642 342563 and by email on dpo@tees.ac.uk and complete the data breach notification form

In the event of a serious data protection breach, the University is required to report the breach to the Information Commissioners Office within 72 hours. It is therefore important that you act quickly.
