Bart Simpson signs his autobiography!

27 January 2003

Springfield’s finest student, Bart Simpson, is best known for the changing set of ‘punishment lines’ on the blackboard during the opening of The Simpsons. However, Bart’s alter ego, actress Nancy Cartwright, is much more literate…and a good thing too as she’s doing a book signing at the University of Teesside’s branch of Waterstones on Thursday 30 January at 5.30pm!

Nancy is visiting the University to talk about her work, including voicing Bart himself, as part of Animex™, the celebration of animation organised by the University of Teesside and Middlesbrough Council.

She will be signing copies of her best selling autobiography, My Life as a 10-Year Old Boy, at the University of Teesside’s branch of Waterstones on Southfield Road, Middlesbrough, from 5.30pm – 6.30pm on Thursday 30 January.

Copies of My Life as a 10-Year Old Boy will be available, priced £7.99. Please note, it will be at Ms. Cartwright’s discretion on the day whether or not she will sign other products.

For further information, contact Paul Syson at Waterstones on 01642 242017.
