New Visiting Fellows appointed to Teesside Business School

14 February 2003

The University of Teesside’s Business School has welcomed four new Visiting Fellows from the local business community. They will be involved in the School’s activities in a variety of ways, including delivery of guest lectures, advising on academic developments and participating in University approval events as external practitioners.

The new Visiting Fellows are:

  • Mr Brian Dinsdale OBE, Chief Executive of Middlesbrough Council
  • Mr Colin Moore, Chief Executive, Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council
  • Mr Peter Rowley, Director and Chief Executive, Darlington Building Society
  • Mr Martin Stockton, Head of Human Resources Transformation, Towers Perrin Management Consultants (a global company but its main UK base is London).

Professor John Wilson, Director of Teesside Business School, said: "These four business specialists were chosen because of their expertise in key areas: Colin Moore and Brian Dinsdale in local government management and public service management, Peter Rowley in strategic management and Martin Stockton in human resource management.

"We are delighted the title of Visiting Fellow has been conferred and their contribution will strengthen our academic expertise and further enhance the quality of the student experience."
