A lecture entitled ‘Drugs, Technology and the Body’ will be given by Professor Robin Bunton in Room OL1 in the University of Teesside’s Europa Building from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday 7 May

The lecture, which is open to the general public, will examine the relationship between drugs, technology and the body.

Professor Bunton is one of the University’s resident Professors of Sociology. During a long and varied career, he has held the posts of Director of Alcohol Concern Wales and Senior and Principal Lecturer in Social Policy, Health Promotion and other related subjects.

He has also worked as a Researcher and Consultant on a host of topics including the social aspects of genetics, alcohol use and child miss-treatment.

Refreshments will be served from 6pm with attendance available on a first come, first served basis
