North East Universities Business Plan Competition

Calling all recent graduates and current students at the University of Teesside. Do you have a plan to set up your own business?

Each of the five local Universities is offering its students and recent graduates a chance to win their own University competition for the best business plan. Each winner, who will receive £1,000, will then be put forward to a grand final, with a prize of £20,000 to develop their plan into a real business.

To enter, the applicant must be studying a degree at the University of Teesside or have graduated no earlier than 2001 and have a two-page summary of their idea, delivered to the University of Teesside by 4.00pm Friday 27 February 2004.

The competition is open to registered students at the Universities of Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside and recent graduates (within the last two years) who currently live in the North East.
