Game on at Teesside

14 January 2005

The world of video games (one of the most popular forms of home entertainment for people aged 5 – 35) will be explored at Animex, Middlesbrough’s annual celebration of animation, organised by the University of Teesside.

The Animex Game event will be held on Monday 31 January and Tuesday 1 February 2005 at the University of Teesside featuring presentations from leading games designers and writers. A must-see event for anyone with an interest in video games, the guests include Chris Crawford and Ernest Adams, who are both respected authors, games design experts and founders of the International Games Developers Association. Joining them will be Tony Bickley, European Development Director of Konami (the games development company behind such hits as Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill) and Rhianna Pratchett, games reviewer and script writer.
