Celebrating International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day will be celebrated at the University of Teesside with We Create – a day of inspiring workshops and an exhibition showcasing women’s creativity.

We Create will be held at the University’s Centre for Enterprise, off Victoria Road, Middlesbrough, on Friday 11 March, from 10am – 4pm.

The seminars and workshops include sessions exploring creative writing, meditation & painting, digital art, body image and children’s author Paula Maddison Green will talk about succeeding in business. The exhibition features displays of new fashions, carpet designs, marketing techniques and digital art.

There will be an opportunity for members of the media to visit the exhibition prior to its public opening at 9.30am, on Friday 11 March at the Centre for Enterprise. We Create organiser, Jenny Hall will be present to answer any questions about the event.
