Spring into University study

22 February 2007

Where can you find free short taster courses in web publishing? Creative writing? On-site local History? Sport and Exercise? Or Law and Criminology?

All these and more are available from the University of Teesside’s Spring University, which runs

during this month, March and April. Short courses are on offer at the University campus and at Darlington College’s Catterick

campus in North Yorkshire. Information Technology courses, including databases, spreadsheets and internet and web authoring

will be delivered at Catterick.

Many of the Spring University courses have been designed for people who wish to return to study after a break from education.

Students can use credits from these courses towards another university qualification. They can also access a range of

University facilities, including borrowing rights and use of computers in the Learning Resource Centre.
