Known as ‘Confirmation and Clearing’ and lasting until mid-September, the University will help match potential students to courses which still have vacancies.
This process has also become increasingly popular with people who have made a late application to university.

The helplines are open on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 August from 8.30am until 8.00pm. The same numbers are available from 10.00am to 3.00pm on Saturday 18 August, with an answerphone service on Sunday 19 August. The lines are open again from 8.30am to 6.00pm from Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 August.
Alternatively, clearing and late application enquiries can be made by completing a Clearing enquiry form, and other clearing information including course vacancy listings is also provided.
