Female entrepreneurs urged to make their mark

Women can show off their entrepreneurial skills by entering a prestigious national competition.

Nominations are now being sought for the Girls! Make Your Mark Awards.

And Teesside staff, students and graduates are being urged to shout about their achievements and put themselves in the running for the top prize.

The awards are designed to celebrate female entrepreneurs and encourage more women to showcase their skills.

A panel of prominent businesswomen including Jacqueline Gold, head of Anne Summers and vocal coach to the stars Carrie Grant will help judge the five award categories.

Entries to the Girls! Make Your Mark Awards must be submitted before 21 July and those shortlisted will attend a glamorous awards ceremony in September.
