Clearing the way to a new future

05 August 2008

Helplines are expected to be busy this week as students confirm their place when A-level results come out on Thursday 14 August.

Known as ‘Confirmation and Clearing’ and lasting until mid-September, we will help match potential students to courses which still have vacancies.

This process has also become increasingly popular with people who have made a late application to university.

Generous bursaries and scholarships As well as finding out about courses, you can also get information on our generous bursaries and scholarships and student services such as accommodation, sport, counselling and health.

Among new courses from our School of Arts & Media are the BA (Hons) Decorative Arts*, BA (Hons) Dance in the Community* and BA (Hons) Performance for Live and Recorded Media*.

The School of Computing’s portfolio includes the following: BSc (Hons) Business Systems Design, BSc (Hons) Software Development, BA (Hons) Web and Multimedia Design, BSc (Hons) Computer Networks.

The School of Social Sciences & Law’s offerings include the BSc (Hons) Death Investigation.

*courses subject to approval.
