Head-hunted after Teesside success
Among those who have benefited from part-time study at Teesside is Mechanical Engineering graduate Simon Robinson.

He was head-hunted for a new post as a Senior Engineer with Faber Maunsell, a York-based consultancy, after speaking at an international conference about his research into rail track fatigue.

Simon found part-time study a positive experience.

He said: ‘The University has really good facilities. I remember a school teacher telling me I would not do anything with my life. I would like to meet him now. I started with nothing and now have got everything I ever wanted.’
