A cool graduation for Terje

Norwegian graduate Terje Stolsmo has flown back to Middlesbrough to be awarded his BA (Hons) Product Design today.

Terje, 26, is from Trondheim, Norway, where he currently works as a graphic/fashion designer for a company called Camisa.

He has fond memories of his time at the University of Teesside. He said: “My three years on Teesside was good, the connection between the staff and us students was extraordinary. In my case the three years have given me a solid foundation to build further on.” For his final year degree project Terje designed a wine cooler unit. He said: “I have three friends back in Norway who are wine waiters and they’ve described the square wine coolers in kitchens. My design held 15 bottles; it was an opportunity to do something a bit different before I graduated.”
