Loving student life

Jody Cashmore spent more than 15 years working in the leisure and tourism industry before enrolling at Teesside and embarking on a brand new career challenge.

She is studying a for a BSc (Hons) Trading Standards and Consumer Protection and plans to become a full-time Trading Standards Officer after completing her degree.

For Jody, becoming a student later in life has been one of the best decisions she ever made and she has embraced student life.

She gave a talk during a University Open Day to let people know what being a mature student at Teesside is all about.
