One North East chair launches lecture series

Our 80th anniversary public secture series is to be launched by Dr Margaret Fay, OBE, chair of regional development agency One North East.

Dr Margaret Fay will launch the Honorary and Professorial Public Lecture programme on Wednesday 02 December.

Her lecture Preparing the Region’s Economy For Growth will examine the region’s current economic climate from her perspective in her role with One North East.

Discussion on how to restructure for her future growth will follow the lecture, with an opportunity for questions from the audience.

Margaret was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws from Teesside University last year.

Admission to all of the lectures in the series is free. Each starts at 6.30pm in the University’s Centuria Building, Room H0.01, with refreshments available from 6.00pm.
