Free public lecture looks at the state of the art

Teesside University’s 80th anniversary honorary and professorial public lecture series continues with Professor Matthew Rampley.

Professor Rampley is an Assistant Dean in the School of Arts & Media. His lecture State of the art explores examples of projects which attempted to further the interests of the state through art, from the early 19th century to the present.

His lecture can be heard on Wednesday 24 February, from 6.30pm to 7.45pm, in the Centuria Building, off Victoria Road, Middlesbrough. All welcome, refreshments available from 6.00pm. Places must be booked.

Visitors to our 80th anniversary lecture series can also take advantage of our Alumni Association loyalty card scheme, which provides an opportunity to win a bottle of champagne.

Get your loyalty card stamped each time you attend a lecture and when you have three or more stamps, send it to the address on reverse of the card by Friday 11 June to be entered into our champagne prize draw.
