Terrance, who won the medal for Greco Roman Wrestling, has enrolled for a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise (Applied Sports Science) here at Teesside.
He will also be eligible to apply for our Elite Athlete Scheme, which provides a comprehensive support structure for gifted and talented athletes, who compete, or have the potential to compete, at international level.
Matt Wright, Teesside’s Sports Development Officer, said: ‘We would like to congratulate Terence on his outstanding success at the Commonwealth Games – it’s a fantastic achievement.
‘There are some extremely talented athletes here at Teesside and we’re looking forward to welcoming Terence to the University.’
Terence is not the only person representing Teesside in Delhi. Physiotherapy lecturer Julie Sparrow is working as a physiotherapist at the Commonwealth Games.
