The students completed a range of short courses at the University’s Spring and Summer Universities, held at both Darlington College and the Fairway.
The diverse mix of courses included Drawing, Painting, Criminal Law and Computing.
During the celebration evening, held on 18 October, certificates of achievement were presented by Ernie Haidon, from the University’s Board of Governors.
Karen Williams, Teesside University’s Recruitment Co-ordinator for the Spring and Summer Universities, said: ‘The celebration of achievement evening recognises and celebrates the success of Spring and Summer University students of which many haven’t studied a university course before. Some have now progressed onto other university courses.’ In September 2011 Teesside University will open a new £13m five-storey campus in Darlington, behind Darlington College on Haughton Road.
