Making the most of digital platforms

20 March 2012

Generator, in association with digitalcity Innovation, is bringing their successful 'Compact: Making the Most of Digital Platforms' seminars to Teesside University.

The seminars are designed to increase the online profile of attendees and make best use of digital opportunities by taking an in depth look at the key services, applications and widgets available to businesses and artists in the music industry.

Tutored by Music Ally, the seminars were recently delivered in Newcastle and saw music businesses and artists at various stages of their development filling the room to learn from their experience and up to date knowledge of the fast paced digital sector.

Having delivered in-house training and assisted in developing strategies for the likes of Universal Music and EMI, Music Ally are ideally placed to lead the two part programme. Music Ally is constantly monitoring the digital music scene, regularly refreshing its sources of information and mixing at every level of the music business, we are able to anticipate trends before they occur, enabling our clients to know more and do better business than their rivals.

Mairin Gannon, Head of Learning and Development at Universal Music International said: 'Music Ally’s digital expertise combined with their lively and engaging approach to workshop delivery has made them the ideal agency for our digital Training needs.

'They have been flexible and responsive, and are happy to work with internally generated ideas and case studies as well as providing external expert input.'

The seminars are not open to students, only SMEs. They take place on Wednesday 4 April and Wednesday 25 April from 10.30am to 4.30pm in the Phoenix Building at Teesside University.
