University Cinema choice for 2001

The triumph of a young male ballet dancer from the North-East; a team of animated toys and a trio of angels; all these and more are on offer from the University of Teesside’s new cinema season. Films are screened on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays at 7pm in the Europa Building, Woodlands Road, Middlesbrough. Tickets are £2 and refreshments are available. The full list is:

4/5/6 February – Toy Story 2 (Cert U), featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Kelsey Grammer

11/12/13 February – Dinosaur (Cert PG), featuring the voices of Julianna Margulies and Joan Plowright

18/19/20 February – Meet the Parents (Cert 12), starring Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro

25/26/27 February – Charlie’s Angels (Cert 15), starring Bill Murray, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu

4/5/6 March – Bedazzled (Cert 12), starring Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley

11/12/13 March – Small Time Crooks (Cert PG), starring Woody Allen, Tracey Ullman and Hugh Grant.

18/19/20 March – What Lies Beneath (Cert 15), starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford

25/26/27 March – Hollow Man (Cert 18), starring Elizabeth Shue and Kevin Bacon
