As a corporate member, Teesside will work alongside the likes of Brewin Dolphin investment management, Yorkshire Bank, PWC financial services, and Sage business software experts to support the Forum’s work.

The Forum engages with business leaders and inspires business growth and innovation to drive the North East economy by sharing knowledge and best practice to support growing businesses and nurture emerging talent. With a combined turnover of £6.9billion, the Forum’s members showcase the region as a growth area for innovation and enterprise.

Nigel Mills, Chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum said: 'We are delighted to welcome Teesside University to the Forum. It is excellent to have the support and wisdom of a higher education partner with a national reputation for engaging with businesses, supporting economic growth and diversification, and growing the knowledge economy.'

Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Henderson CBE DL said: 'Teesside University is proud to join the North East Entrepreneurs’ Forum. Such partnerships are vital to continue to grow and develop the economy in the region. To bring the University’s expertise and experience of driving entrepreneurship to such a dynamic organisation – and to showcase to its members the support we can give to help their businesses to grow will hopefully bring a new dimension to the work we do and what we can all achieve together.'
