Teesside Law Clinic offers help with wills

Teesside Law Clinic has teamed up with Freers Solicitors and Paul J Watson Solicitors for the Pro-Bono initiative Will Aid.

Will Aid is a special partnership between the legal profession nine UK charities. Each November, participating solicitors waive their fee for writing a basic will and instead, invite clients to make a donation to Will Aid.

The solicitors involved will waive their usual fee, instead suggesting a donation to the Will Aid charities instead. If the is more complex, a separate fee can be agreed for the extra work outside of the Will Aid arrangement.

Teesside Law Clinic, which opened in September at Teesside University, offers free legal advice to the public. Law students provide the service as part of their Law LLB (Hons) degree.

Teesside Law Clinic Will Aid days, in association with Freers Solicitors and Paul J Watson Solicitors will take place at Teesside Law Clinic, Teesside University, on Tuesday 13 November and Tuesday 27 November.
