Graduates can get ahead with free employability workshops

Teesside University is offering a career-boosting programme of events to support 2012 graduates who are yet to start work.

The Get Ahead Graduate Programme runs from January to March 2013 and offers another way for graduates to develop their skills and become even more employable.

Whether you are a recent graduate wanting to set up in business, or looking for employment, the essential skills you will learn will make an impressive addition to any CV.

With topics such as leadership development, industry knowledge, entrepreneurship and negotiation skills, the Get Ahead Graduate Programme can help graduates develop the necessary skills to make that first step on the career ladder.

The free 12-week programme at Teesside University is open to 2012 graduates and starts on Monday 7 January, with weekly sessions taking place until the end of March.

'The programme is also recognised and endorsed by the North East Chamber of Commerce, which means you will get the invaluable opportunity to network with potential employers throughout the programme.'

There are 30 places available on the Get Ahead Graduate Programme and the deadline for applications is Midday on Friday 4 January.
