Art & Design at the University of Teesside has just been awarded the excellent score of 22 out of 24 by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for Higher Education- with the subject gaining 4 out of 4 in the four areas of Curriculum Design & Content; Learning Resources; Student Progression & Achievement; and Student Support & Guidance.

The Design Degree Show is free and features the work by final year Teesside students on the University's degrees in Graphic Design, Interior Architecture & Design, Design Marketing and Industrial Design.

Su Reid, Director of the University's School of Law, Arts & Humanities, said: "The Degree Show by our Design students is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the excellent outcome of the Art & Design subject review. The assessors were very positive about our well planned learning resources, particularly the IT provision. The review highlighted the success of students from diverse backgrounds and praised the first-rate co-operation between the University and Cleveland College of Art & Design, which also received a very positive QAA review recently."
