University's £2m boost for Business on Teesside

31 January 2000

The University of Teesside's School of Business & Management have assembled a range of projects worth over £2m.

The projects, partly financed by European Funding, have enabled the School's Management Centre to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with services such as Market Research and Benchmarking. Other services include developmental work, which provide solutions to common problems affecting small businesses.

Catherine Kearney, Business Development Manager for the Management Centre said: "We are delighted to have been so successful in securing this funding during the last 18 months. It has opened up new opportunities for the School of Business & Management to work closely with SMEs, and is a real opportunity for the University to give practical support to local companies."
