A new Post Graduate Institute of Health (PGIH) will be launched at the University of Teesside on Tuesday 30 January, from 9am to 4.30pm, at the new £8m Centuria Building, Victoria Road, Middlesbrough.

The Institute aims to promote best clinical practice based on scientific evidence and the opening programme will feature 12 themed sessions which will explore research and development and postgraduate education, including Public Health, Primary Care, Mental Health and Cancer.

Professor Tracey Howe, the Institute’s Director, said: “The establishment of the new Institute is an exciting opportunity for the University and Teesside as a whole.
