Final year students from Teesside University who completed the annual National Student Survey (NSS) had their names put into a draw with the chance to win a cash prize.
Michael, 21, of Eaglescliffe, won the top prize of £250 with 15 other students receiving a £50 runner-up prize.
He said: 'The survey offers a chance for students to have their say and provide feedback, which is always a good thing.'
Michael, who is due to graduate from the BSc (Hons) Computer Games Programming later this year, plans to continue studying at Teesside.
