The Better Health at Work Award is endorsed by Public Health England and acknowledges the University’s strategic approach to staff health and wellbeing and the importance of staff engagement in the development of health and wellbeing initiatives.
The award follows successful completion of our 2022/23 Staff Health and Wellbeing Action Plan, which included a focus on improved mental health and wellbeing and reducing cancer risks among the top priorities.

Credit for maintaining this award should go to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Employee Engagement Teams in HR, who have developed and implemented a comprehensive range of health and wellbeing initiatives and training over the last year in direct response to the needs identified by staff across the University.’
