February is LGBTQ+ History Month, a time both for looking at what the past can teach us, but also to the future. Get ready for an incredible lineup of events that you won't want to miss. Everyone is welcome, so get TU Proud and show your allyship!

Allison Rosewood LGBTQ+ History Month Award (Competition)

Unleash your creativity in our writing competition! This year, we invite you to imagine a world in which Section 28 (a UK law prohibiting local authorities from ‘promoting homosexuality,’ 1988-2003) never existed.

Creative Writing Session on LGBTQ+ Visibility

Join us on 28 February, 12:00pm-1:00pm, for a creative writing session where we explore LGBTQ+ visibility. There’s no pressure to share your work!

This is followed by an optional drop in from 1.00pm-1:30pm for anyone wanting to discuss competition submissions.

Both sessions open to staff and students. Book your space
