Teesside University welcomes storytelling expert

Antonia Liguori recently joined Teesside University as Professor of Participatory Storytelling and Public Policy.

Throughout her career, Professor Liguori has travelled across the world to listen to and amplify stories from people in Colombia, India and New Zealand.

The communities have shared valuable insight into issues surrounding the environment, gender-based violence and chronic pain with Professor Liguori, which has informed her research and helped her address challenges.

As a digital storytelling specialist, she also collaborated with former Blue Peter presenter Diane Louise Jordan on the Making of Black Britain multimedia campaign.

Having spent more than twenty years helping other people tell their stories, she stepped in front of camera at Teesside University to share her own and reflect on her career.
