Join in with our Do Good, Feel Good, Keep Boro Tidy Community Litter Pick and give something back to the community!

On Thursday 24th April, we will meet at the Student Life Building at 12:30pm and walk over to Newport Community Hub. The litter pick will be between 1-2pm. All gloves, pickers and bags will be provided. Please wear suitable footwear and appropriate clothing. We will then join a team of volunteers and help to "Keep Boro Tidy!"

Why You'll Love It: The sense of community from getting together with others for a single litter pick can boost your mood significantly, as can seeing the results of your actions and knowing you have helped tidy the local area. You will meet the volunteering team at the University and fellow volunteers who are all like minded and what to give something back to the community.

What You'll Learn: You will learn about your local area and ways in which you can improve the space around you. A clean, tidy environment can also enhance a sense of pride and encourage further positive actions.

What We're Looking For: Volunteers who are wanting to make a difference and give something back. Volunteers who want to help the residents of Middlesbrough, businesses and the community. Together, we can all help to #KeepBoroTidy

Sign up here. New volunteers will need to register an account.

Great opportunity to help your community, meet new people and boost your mood.
