Are you “exam fit”? May 2025
Exams can be a demanding time, be “exam fit” by looking after yourself. We are here to help with information and advice on ways you can cope with exam stress and tips on how to work productively, focus & concentrate.
Open laptop, glasses, alarm clock, notebooks, paperclips and bulldog clip with post-it notes that have the words 'are you ready?' written on them.
Information and advice available
As a first stop, why not have a look at our Exam Fit webpage. It gives more information on what to expect in an exam situation plus hints and tips on looking yourself and being prepared.
Student and Library Services have also created a helpful guide as part of the mental wellbeing support services available to you.
Our Librarians have produced an “exams and how to survive them” guide, which includes hints and tips, an online tutorial and information on preparing for your exams.
Please also check out our YouTube video on what to expect in the exam room itself.
Teesside University students can also access free 24/7 mental health support via the Student Assistance Programme. The support available includes advice by telephone, live chat, or via the Wellbeing Hub app.
Check the SLS events calendar for details of study skills and wellbeing sessions.
If you need somewhere quiet to work or revise, the Library is open 24/7 for all Teesside University students (self-service only on any bank holidays).
