Partnership to drive global collaboration

Teesside University has signed a partnership agreement with the Baoji University of Arts and Sciences (BUAS) in China to explore ways in which the two institutions can work together.

Teesside University, which has campuses in Middlesbrough and London, recently hosted a delegation from BUAS which is based in Shaanxi Province.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase Teesside University’s world-class facilities and discuss exciting prospects for collaboration between the two institutions.

Founded in 1958, BUAS is a leading public university with three campuses and approximately 21,000 full-time students.

During the visit, representatives from BUAS toured Teesside University’s campus, including the cutting-edge Digital Life and BIOS buildings and engaged in discussions focused on developing joint initiatives.

The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities, marking a commitment to explore collaborative opportunities in areas such as design, business, and engineering.
