Christmas shopping trip to Teesside Park! Wed 10 December.

Have you started your Christmas shopping? Join us for a festive shopping trip to Teesside Park and get yourself ready for the big day!

We have a special Christmas treat coming soon. We have organised a free shuttle bus service for students and staff wishing to visit Teesside Park for some Christmas shopping. You’ll be able to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the centre at this time of year, along with the Christmas market stalls packed with seasonal flavours that visit every December. They’re a great place to pick up a warm snack or drink while you browse.

Teesside Park also offers a great range of restaurants and leisure attractions, giving you plenty of options to enjoy a meal, watch a film, go bowling, tackle the Ninja Warrior obstacle course, or simply take a break during your visit. You’re welcome to stay for as long as you need to shop, eat, and make the most of the facilities, and the bus will be available to take you there and back for free (*unless you decide to return to campus after the last shuttle bus). The bus has a limited number of spaces for each journey. If you miss the time you want, you can always wait for the next bus to come. There is no booking required for the bus and places are on a first come, first serve basis.

You will need your student card (TUSC) card to secure a place on the bus otherwise the driver can refuse you entry onto the bus.

The shuttle bus pick up point will be the Middlesbrough Tower car park (behind Student Life building)

Teesside University:- Leave at 11:30 Teesside Park- Arrive approx. 11:45

Teesside University:- Leave at 12:15 Teesside Park - Arrive approx. 12:30 (Leave at 12:40)

Teesside University:- Leave at 13:00 Teesside Park- Arrive approx. 13:15 (Leave at 13:25)

Teesside University:- Leave at 13:45 Teesside Park - Arrive approx. 14:00 (Leave at 14:10)

Teesside University:- Leave at 14:30 Teesside Park - Arrive approx. 14:45 (Leave at 14:55)

Teesside University:- Leave at 15:15 Teesside Park - Arrive approx. 15:30 (Leave at 15:40)

Teesside University:- Leave at 16:00 Teesside Park - Arrive approx. 16:15 (Leave at 16:25)

Teesside University:- Leave at 16:45 Teesside Park - Arrive approx. 17:00 ( Leave at 17:10 and last collection of the day)

Arrive back to Teesside University for last drop off at 17:30

The bus will wait for 10 minutes at the bus stop behind Costa drive thru/ Morrisons at Teesside Park for return journeys back to campus.

*Important – please note, if you choose to return after the last shuttle bus leaves Teesside Park at 16.45, you will need to make your own way back to campus.

Bus timetable information - Bus number 16 runs from all stops at Teesside Park, including the leisure area where it stops outside of Showcase Cinema, and operates until 10:30pm. Bus services 36, 37, and 38 run from the shopping park area but only operate until 8:00pm. More info

Ninja Warrior UK – enjoy a one hour’s session on the activity course including socks for just £6 (usually £17.90). Sessions are available to book between 12pm and 6pm. No prior booking required, just turn up on the day and show your TUSC card. Further information is available here

Hollywood Bowl – enjoy 2-4-1 all day at Hollywood Bowl. The offer can be redeemed as a second game of bowling (2 games for the price of 1), a second person playing (2 players for the price of 1) or even a free game of golf when a game of bowling is purchased. Pause for Coffee – enjoy any drink on the day for £3.00 on production of TUSC card. The truck is located on the main retail park, opposite Next Home.
