Teesside University praised for developing digital skills

Teesside University has once again been named a Centre of Excellence in recognition of its commitment to helping students and staff develop digital skills.

The accreditation, awarded by Prodigy Learning, celebrates the work of the Digital Enablement team at Teesside University to deliver professional certifications and training opportunities.

Through the University's partnership with Prodigy Learning, staff and students can access free Adobe and Microsoft certifications, gaining internationally recognised credentials that enhance their studies and future career prospects.

This work forms part of Teesside University's award-winning Future Facing Learning initiative, which places digital innovation at the heart of the student experience and empowers learners to embrace emerging technologies.

Teesside University was also the first higher education institution in Europe to achieve Adobe Creative Campus status, further highlighting its commitment to embedding digital literacy across all subject areas.

Hundreds of students and staff have taken advantage of the University's free certification offer since it began, gaining key qualifications that demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software.
