Collaborative PhD studentships provide a unique opportunity for organisations to get involved in high-quality research projects that are designed to find solutions to real-world problems.
Our collaborative PhD studentships are doctoral projects, typically lasting three years that are run in partnership with Teesside University. Doctoral projects are at the heart of research and innovation in the UK and, when funded by an organisation, have the added advantage of being co-developed to benefit organisational objectives.
We can also work with you if you want to offer funding to current employees to undertake a research project.
Recognising the importance of R&D to the prosperity and resilience of the region's businesses and institutions, Teesside University is committed to co-funding collaborative PhD studentships each year.
Applications can be submitted throughout the year.
