Through our place-based research, we are connecting communities, industry and education, driving engagement with environmental sustainability and regional green energy goals.

Through our local health networks, we are reducing health inequalities and driving improved community wellbeing through the co-creation of impactful research.

Teesside Taskforce

The UK2070 CommissionThe UK2070 Commission established a programme of locally based taskforces in support of the ambition for all cities, regions and nations to be at the heart of the UK's drive for a future greener, more inclusive economy. These collaborative partnerships enable enhanced capacity for strategic action on those matters that need a wider geographical perspective, for example, economic development and connectivity.
